Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

With 2020 coming to an end and as we look towards the New Year we wanted to wish you the best possible holiday season. Like us, I’m sure you’re happy to keep 2020 in the rearview mirror. It’s been a year of chaos, loss, exhaustion, and for some of us a time to reflect on ourselves. Understanding who you are and what mission you want to take on for the rest of your life can seem daunting and we want to encourage you to pursue a passion that helps you find your purpose and meaning in life, love, and family. Here are 7 ways to help you find your passion and purpose to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
  1. Volunteer
Donating your time and talent is one way to make a significant impact in the lives of others. It’s often when we do something for someone else we find our purpose and meaning.
  2. Go on a retreat
Taking time to cut out the noise and pausing for a moment helps you reevaluate your priorities and adjust your goals. Sometimes all you need is a break to reignite your passions.
  3. Listen to Feedback
It can be hard to recognize your own passions so ask the positive people in your life for some insight, you may be displaying your passion and purpose without knowing it.
  4. Explore your interests
Try something new! Explore things that you love to do and what comes easily to you. What are the times you’ve experienced the greatest joy? What are the similarities?
  5. Consider Injustices that bother you
What injustices in the world make you deeply unhappy? Finding your passion and purpose can lie within this question. There are many organizations out there working towards solving injustices that need your help. Research some and see how you can make an impact!
  6. Disown your fears
Fear is the #1 cause that keeps us from realizing our passion and purpose by robbing us of our confidence. Acknowledge your fears, accept that failure is part of the process and you are 1 step closer to leading a meaningful life.
  7. Create a vision board
Seeing visual representations of what you want will reinforce the vision you have for the life you want to live. Reflect on what a meaningful and fulfilling life looks like to you, get started on your vision board, and put it somewhere you will see every day.
